Relationship Revolution
Sunday’s sermon tackled some major life realities – marriage, divorce,
singleness, dating, and adultery. I am
sorry to say (because so many people have asked for podcasts of it) a technical
problem meant it didn’t record.
But just as a message on marriage provoked so much of God’s work in
people’s lives, so I have found that the case with blog posts. Post on being single, dating, marriage, men
and women always get read and shared and responded to. So below I’ve linked four of the most popular
post that cover at least something of the range of relationship experiences we
might be in.
Is being single a blessing or a curse?
Is singleness just a holding-pattern as we wait for marriage? Is being long-term single, for whatever
reason second-rate – somehow missing out on the good life? Or is singleness something us shackled
marrieds should envy – all that freedom!
Is singleness a blessing or a curse?
The Magnitude of Marriage – for us all
Why is marriage important? Why
does it matter? Why did God create
it? What is it ultimately for?
Rescuing Masculinity – what does the Bible say about being a man?
What does it mean to be a man? A
husband? What kind of men are we raising
through our parenting? What kind of man
makes a good husband?
Wives should submit to their husbands – really?
Surely one of the most controversial statements the Bible makes – wives submit
to your husbands! But what does that
mean. And can it possibly be good?
